Google acquires Angstro , specialist in research on social networks – White Hat News
Google has acquired Angstro which is a technology company specializing in information retrieval and data on social networks, The information came on Sunday via a spokesman for the giant internet search. Google has not specified the terms of the agreement but this acquisition underscores the importance of the specialist Internet research grants to social networks, but it dominates a sector where competition is fiercely increasing .
“The battle for the opening and the transversality of social networks is just at its beginning,” said last Thursday on his blog co-founder of Palo Alto, Rohit Khare.
Google last week launched a web portal allowing users to obtain real-time search results of any kind, such as media publications or comments from other users, and even help to keep conversations on platforms such as Facebook or Twitter from a single location.
